Kate Towle - Barre

Kate has been a barre student and teacher since 2012—and was hooked from the very first class. She began teaching at one of the country’s original barre franchises in Princeton, New Jersey, where she led over 3,000 classes and earned the title of Master Instructor. Over the years, she has served as a guest teacher at studios across the Northeast, sharing her passion for barre with a wide range of communities.

After relocating to Vermont in 2020, Kate embraced virtual teaching, connecting with students around the country. Her approach to barre is rooted in safety, alignment, and intentional movement. From day one, she emphasizes proper form to help students maximize results while minimizing the risk of injury.

Set to energizing playlists, her classes feature high reps of small, sculpting movements inspired by ballet, yoga, and Pilates. No matter where someone is on their fitness journey, Kate is ready to meet them there and support them every step of the way.

She lives in Wallingford with her husband and their Golden Retriever, Rooney. When not teaching, she’s often in the garden or mixing up a delicious cocktail.
